Korafe SALT II course –Nov.2-20 – team members Mick Bandy, Andrew Tiki, Valarie Johnson, Peter Brook, and Bible Translators Jim & Cindi Farr. This is our first “SALT II” course – please pray that God will lead us as we develop and test the new curriculum.

Angaatiha SALT course – Nov. 13 – 26 - team members Mike Howes, Badi Vila, David Gudiri, Abra Noso, Susan Sefoyo, and Bible Translator Ainde Wainzo. Pray for Mike and Badi as they continue to train David, Abra and Susan as SALT Instructors.

**For these two courses, pray for team unity, good health for teachers and participants, for the right participants to come with hearts and minds prepared; smooth travel for all concerned (flights, boats, PMVs, hikes); pray for good weather for travel and during the courses.

Preparations for Bandys’ Furlough: (Scheduled for June 19, 2007 - January 15. 2008). Finances, Packing up household, Travel plans, Schooling for boys, Mike Howes who will be coordinating SALT courses while Mick is on furlough. Also, pray for replacement personnel to take over Mick's duties as Project Resources Coordinator.

Finances: We need $15,000 in order to purchase airline tickets for our family of five, plus $5,000 for furlough travel and related re-entry expenses. Over the past year we’ve lost support and have had to use our furlough savings to cover expenses on the field. Please pray that we can finish this term strong, especially as two of our sons are transitioning back to life in the US, and that God will enable us to develop new financial and prayer partners in this ministry. We praise God for the faithful partners who have given sacrificially during this journey of faith!

Carter Bandy – needs his student visa in Australia to be granted before November 2. Please pray that he will find favor with the Australian High Commission in Port Moresby, where the visa will be processed, and for a quick reply, but most of all, that God would be glorified through whatever turns out. Also pray for Carter’s transition “out of the nest” and for safety in travels and good health at YWAM's Discipleship Training School (DTS) in Perth, Australia.

Drew Bandy – pray for a memorable senior year in high school and that he will continue to do well in home-school studies; pray for wisdom and discernment as he decides what to do after high school; pray for good relationships and friends; pray for safety in recreational activities and good health; pray for God to continue to open his heart as he helps lead worship for youth services.

Palmer Bandy – pray that he will continue to do well with home-school studies and that he will be able to do well in his independent aviation studies; pray for good health; pray for good friends and relationships; and pray that his musical talents (he plays guitar) will continue to be a glory to God.

Thank you for your prayers!
