In 1956, Wycliffe missionaries traveled to PNG to share the message of hope and victory in Jesus with the people of this country. Today, 159 language groups have God's Word in their own heart language! Over 180 more language projects are currently in process. On April 21, June and I represented Simbu Province in the celebration.
We are missionary trainers teaching Pastors and lay leaders "Scripture Application & Leadership Training" and Christian Conciliation in Papua New Guinea.
Each missionary family is responsible to raise financial sponsorship through the gifts of friends, family, churches and businesses who believe in their ministry, to not only meet the needs of the worker, but also to draw the heart of the giver into what God is doing in the world. (Matthew 6:21).
Some give monthly, others give to special projects, and some give annual/renewable gifts as the Lord leads.
